With my Hungry Harvest box, I diversify my buying habits to incorporate produce that I did not eat as often as before (beets, mango, pears) and healthy ones that I should be eating more like brussels sprouts, kale, and broccoli plus I can buy more organic fruit and vegetables for less money than buying non-organic at stores. ![]() Although I prefer to buy organic, often it was too expensive in the grocery store or looked old. I will admit as I shopped the vegetables and fruit in stores, I would not buy as much as I should because I didn’t want to pay the extra $5 for something that I knew was healthy for us but was not my favorite or could do without.
